Another year has come and gone. I think this year has gone by the fastest. I can barely remember the spring...the summer is a distant memory... And already it’s January 2003.
I spent it quit quietly. And I was happy to do so. It was just myself and my mum, here at home. I was cleaning out my room. Throwing out lots of stuff I no longer needed/wanted. My mum was organizing her agendas and we took a brief pause for the countdown and then sorta went back to work. We watched some TV and them went to bed. Sounds boring, but all I really wanted top do was just be here at home doing nothing, so that’s what I did. And I don’t really regret it. I didn’t really feel like going out anywhere.
Yesterday at work all I really wanted to do was get home. My shift was from 7:40 to 4:10. So of course at ten to four, I get a customer who wants her make-up done so I did it. But she was all complain-y and at the end of it, she wanted to by only the gloss and when I told her how much it was she freaked out and said I was crazy and LEFT!!! I was so pissed cause now it was four thirty and I still hadn’t closed my cash.. I left work at like five and missed a train, caught the next one, but then missed my stop and walked like half way home in the pouring freezing rain....and then I was so exhausted and a little cranky. But my mood soon changed, I think I just needed to be home.
And so today, after sleeping in late...I got up, cleaned a little more. Spiro and Sandra were originally supposes to come over to watch some cartoons, but instead we made arrangement to go out and see a film instead- I have to admit, it was good getting out of the house a little. So until it was time to go out, we watch my new DVD- Water Ship down, a gift from Spiro...(he also gave me a care bear ,which is the very SAME one that I used to have....he remembered from a conversation a long time ago AND he even got my a My Little Pony..All things that were like from my childhood, really awesome gifts...)Water Ship Down is this crazy cartoon about Bunny and how one of them (Fivel) is like a psychic and sees that their warren os in trouble and they all need to leave it or get killed. So their adventure is about them finding a new warren but along the way they run into trouble with another group of bunnies and all sorts of madness happens. It’s actually a really violent movie and not really at all aimed at kids, but somehow I was allowed to watch it and it was my favourite movie growing up. So it was great to get it on DVD, to see it clearly without the blinking of the copy we have on VHS.
SO we watched that and then got ready and mum drove my sister and I to meet Spiro and Sandra, we met up with one other guy I’d never met and set out for the theatre. We were going o Guzo but we got them and the movie we were gong to see (Gangs of New York) was sold out, so we went to Colossus and it was sold out too so we decided to go out for Souvklaki at Marathons, but it was closed so we ended up at McDonalds.....ugh. SO after the eating we went back to Colossus and after much indecisiveness, we agreed to watch “Star Trek NEMESIS”, well we almost all agreed. I’ll admit I was pretty indifferent about seeing it, but as it turns out it was quit entertaining.
The Spiro and Sandra came over here for a little while and it’s just been a really fun night. We’ve been laughing all day long. It’s been great being with my sister, just hanging out. It’s great that us, and our fiends get along so well!
And they just left a little while ago and I decided to update since it’s been so long, so here I am, with my sister and we are signing along to the Moulin Rouge CD having fun singing the duets to each other, making fun...good times...good times.
