Man days off ROCK!!!!

I don’t thing I’ve have two days off since christmas. And let me tell you, it feels great!

Let’s see, saturday after work, we (we as in Spiro, Vaya [Spiro’s sister], myself and a few of Sandra’s friends) went out to celebrate Sandra’s 25th birthday. It was full of good, good times, lots of laughter and good food..especially the oreo birthday cake! Sandra and her friends were going out afterwards, but I just didn’t have the energy so politely declined. Spiro and his sister drove me home and I was quite happy to get into my jammies and just curl up in my bed and drift off to sleep, knowing that I didn’t have to get up fir work the next day.

So yesterday I did N-O-T-H-I-N-G! I slept in as long as I could, until about ten. The puppy woke me up and I pretty much just lazed around the house. Chris and Isabelle came over and my mum made waffles which were freaking awesome! And them it hit me- overwhelming tiredness.

After Chris and Isabelle (and Simon!) left, I went down to the couch, put on some LOTR extras and like that, I was out. It was around four-ish when I last remember being awake, and then suddenly it was seven thirty.

I slept the entire day away. Now I know that most of you will think its a waste, and yes it kind of is, but man did it feel good.

Then I watched the golden globes, talked to Sandra for like an hour and at like ten to eleven I decided I wanted to rent movies. So my mum and I took the puppy out and walked up to the video store where I rented “Signs” and “Lilo and Stich”.

When we got home, mum went to bed, because unlike me, she had to work today.. So I pulled out the big comfy sofa bed, made it up all comfy with lots of pillows and blankets, got a cup of tea and put in “Signs”...

Oh man, i really didn’t like it. Besides the fact that joaquin phoenix  is a real hottie, the movie didn’t really have any substance. It was predictable and completely un-scary. I tried to be scared. I was watching it all alone in the basement, in the complete darkness....nothing. I watched it but wasn’t really impressed. On ten, I give it a 5-6.

So then I drifted off to sleep. Puppy found it necessary to wake me up at like nine thirty which I really didn’t appreciate, but got up, have a tea and toast and put in “Lilo and Stich”. It was funny and entertaining, just what I wanted. So at least one out if the two rentals I made last night was good. And I spent the better part of my day in the sofa bed watching tv and then I watched “Attack of the Clones” which was very enjoyable. Yoda kicked major ass!

Got a cool package from Aimee today too! It included some Heat magazine garbage and a cd single of "the Cheeky Girls" I have never heard or seen anything so aweful. Picture two Celine Dion look alikes who can barely speak english siging a song about their bums.......and then add a cheesy dance beat to it and you have the "Cheeky Girls"..obviously sent as a joke......thier hit song is called "touch my bum" just to give you and idea about how bad it is.......

And now because I’ve done nothing all day, I have to get busy doing the laundry and a few work things that I don’t really feel like doing-
At least I took some time to update, which I really am going to try and do more frequently......i repeat TRY......

*updated guestbook- much more "ME"

Got a nice surprise in my e-mail this morning.

One of my oldest friends from back in the day wrote to me (for those who know her, Melanie Bourgeois). I haven’t heard from her in like years! It was so cool (oh no!I said sooo cooolll!how embarrassing!). And the weird thing was that I was just talking about her not two weeks ago...strange. She said she had been thinking about me and did a search on the internet to see if she could find me. I’m assuming she came across this site since it’s the first that comes up when you do a google on me.

So that started my day out nicely.

Spent most of the morning in bed. Just sitting there, drifting in and out of sleep....When I finally did get up....I had a major craving for....BAKLAVA!!!!!!
It’s so sweet and delicious and lucky for me, I had all the necessary ingredients to make it. And I drenched that mo fo in so much sticky, sweet syrup....them baklava’s were drowning! SO Indulged in that. It made an awful lot of them though.....too much to have lying around here....so I may have to give some out..I wonder who might like some??? Aniter? Spiro?

And well that’s about it I suppose. Watched some tv..Oh last night a new episode os Smallville was on. You know it’s going to be a good one when it starts out with Clark in a wet, white t-shirt.....AND when there are 2 Clark fighting each other.....also good.

Tonight, I’m planning on watching Attack of the Clones and Angel, doing some laundry, getting my stuff together for tomorrow and going to bed at some sort or reasonable time....

Just listening to the new Missy Elliot CD (“under construction”)
**** good times.

well I've gone and done it again....left my blogger waaaayyyy to long witout updating. But what can I say...not only haveI been rather busy, but my mind has been quite pre-occupied with some other stuff....unfortunatly thatt I cannot discuss here, not to worry though, it's nothing bad, infact it may be something good. hopefully.

So here i am, writting this entry in the ailes de la mode (a mall) on on eof the internet islans things where you pAY LIKE 2$ FOE TEN MINUTES OF INTERNET TIME..oops hit the caps lock, sorry...anyways as i was saying. It's sunday and because of the sunday train schedule, i get here uber early. My shift starts at 11H40 and y train got me in town at 8H40....i've been walking around.....had a coffee, played games on my phone an then i came across this thing and though, why not update...and here I am.

Things have been going well for me. I still LOVE my job...miss my friends though. I am vey much looking foward to having 2 days off stuck together, I managed to arrange it for the next week. I had yesterday off which ws great. I spent the entire day in my track suit, watching tv and a movie with my mom. We watched "Subway"..it's a french movie from france, i think it's actually calld "Metro". I was really good, but sleepy-ness overcame me and I missed most of it, luckily we have it for another two days so I may re-watch it when I get home tonight.

It felt soooo good to just relax and not think about work for a day. Not think about making the goal, not thinking about how much this customer's breath stinks, not thinking about how irritating some co-worker can be.....

Boy the timer on this thing is really ging by fast, I only havelike 4 minutes left. I'm sure this entry will be full of mistkes cause I'm rushing so much and because the keys on the keyoard are all wonky. Everyone who is passing by is looking at me weird, it's called the internet people...HELLO!

I'm so full of coffe, tea right now that I know by noon I'll be on a major down.....It's a short shift today, from eleven forty to five ten, but the great thing is that even though I come in at eleven, i get paid as though i was here at eight forty.....sweet!

ok, really have to go now only have one minute left!

Happy New Years

Another year has come and gone. I think this year has gone by the fastest. I can barely remember the spring...the summer is a distant memory... And already it’s January 2003.

I spent it quit quietly. And I was happy to do so. It was just myself and my mum, here at home. I was cleaning out my room. Throwing out lots of stuff I no longer needed/wanted. My mum was organizing her agendas and we took a brief pause for the countdown and then sorta went back to work. We watched some TV and them went to bed. Sounds boring, but all I really wanted top do was just be here at home doing nothing, so that’s what I did. And I don’t really regret it. I didn’t really feel like going out anywhere.

Yesterday at work all I really wanted to do was get home. My shift was from 7:40 to 4:10. So of course at ten to four, I get a customer who wants her make-up done so I did it. But she was all complain-y and at the end of it, she wanted to by only the gloss and when I told her how much it was she freaked out and said I was crazy and LEFT!!! I was so pissed cause now it was four thirty and I still hadn’t closed my cash.. I left work at like five and missed a train, caught the next one, but then missed my stop and walked like half way home in the pouring freezing rain....and then I was so exhausted and a little cranky. But my mood soon changed, I think I just needed to be home.

And so today, after sleeping in late...I got up, cleaned a little more. Spiro and Sandra were originally supposes to come over to watch some cartoons, but instead we made arrangement to go out and see a film instead- I have to admit, it was good getting out of the house a little. So until it was time to go out, we watch my new DVD- Water Ship down, a gift from Spiro...(he also gave me a care bear ,which is the very SAME one that I used to have....he remembered from a conversation a long time ago AND he even got my a My Little Pony..All things that were like from my childhood, really awesome gifts...)Water Ship Down is this crazy cartoon about Bunny and how one of them (Fivel) is like a psychic and sees that their warren os in trouble and they all need to leave it or get killed. So their adventure is about them finding a new warren but along the way they run into trouble with another group of bunnies and all sorts of madness happens. It’s actually a really violent movie and not really at all aimed at kids, but somehow I was allowed to watch it and it was my favourite movie growing up. So it was great to get it on DVD, to see it clearly without the blinking of the copy we have on VHS.

SO we watched that and then got ready and mum drove my sister and I to meet Spiro and Sandra, we met up with one other guy I’d never met and set out for the theatre. We were going o Guzo but we got them and the movie we were gong to see (Gangs of New York) was sold out, so we went to Colossus and it was sold out too so we decided to go out for Souvklaki at Marathons, but it was closed so we ended up at McDonalds.....ugh. SO after the eating we went back to Colossus and after much indecisiveness, we agreed to watch “Star Trek NEMESIS”, well we almost all agreed. I’ll admit I was pretty indifferent about seeing it, but as it turns out it was quit entertaining.

The Spiro and Sandra came over here for a little while and it’s just been a really fun night. We’ve been laughing all day long. It’s been great being with my sister, just hanging out. It’s great that us, and our fiends get along so well!

And they just left a little while ago and I decided to update since it’s been so long, so here I am, with my sister and we are signing along to the Moulin Rouge CD having fun singing the duets to each other, making fun...good times...good times.
