Man...it’s been far to long since I’ve updated... The week has just flown by!
I’ve been really busy getting used to my new job.
I really love it. I love going into work in the morning, I love selling the products, I love the paperwork.. I love it.
I just need to get used to working nights and week-ends. I think it’s going to take another couple weeks or so, but I’ll get it eventually.
Who knew that you could go into work and not get that tightening pain in your chest...or those pesky stress migraines???
I have today (sunday) and tomorrow off which is good so that I can catch up on some sleep that I’m so desperately needing right now. I slept in to like noon this morning and it felt GREAT!!!! I don’t think anything could have woken me up, I think I was in a semi-coma....and I plan on doing the same tomorrow.
I am supposed to go eat lunch with Aniter demain. That will be nice. I miss her. It was last thursday or wednesday that I really started to miss people from Gap, not everyone, just a few. A couple of people came by to see me and I think that’s what made mew miss them. But I miss Aniter the most. I like the girl I work with, but it’s not the think. Working with your good friend or someone you’ve known for a week....big difference. Not as much laughing..or gas.....I miss Spiro too. But I got to see him a few times this week which was nice....
*Sigh*
I had my orientation for the Bay yesterday. It was long and VERY similar to a Gap orientation-so it was boring in the sense that I already knew the information that was being given. The class was supposed to be over by five, which would have made it perfect for me to take a five thirty train home, but no, it ran unto five twenty-too late and my next train was only at seven thirty. So I stayed late at work and organized our stock and cleaned and did my paper work and stuff....
Came home and Sylvie had Nancy over and she was making dinner and asked me over. She made so much food it was gross! WE ate Chinese fondue (which I don’t really like) baked potatoes, salad, hor d’oeuvres, rice, desert, cheese platter...it was enough to feed a large family. Needless to say, she has leftovers to last the rest of the month! It was a pretty chill night. Got the look of death when I refused to have my wine glass filled.....and much more fun-ness....
Came home at like eleven thirty and watched some TV and drifted off to sleep.....so happy to be in my hot bed with my fresh from the dryer jammies and puppy at my feet.....after of course I had my hot milk, toast and Nuttella....
I will try to update more often, I’m just having trouble getting used to the late nights and early mornings......
